The MIND Hive developed from the imaginings of a group of clinician-investigators, scholars, and colleagues interested in overlapping ideas and issues, wanting to create an environment where we could learn from each other, support one another’s projects, and lift each other up. Plus, share logistics and resources when possible.

MIND - it is clever acronym. We love acronyms! Mind & Matter In New Directions. Where do you want to take your thinking, making, and doing related to embodiment, psychosomatics, affects, material-immaterial relations? The MIND Hive is a collection where you can connect with others interested in understanding affect, bodymind trouble, phenomenology, critical humanities and social sciences, AI, technoscience, crip technoscience…our individual projects are diverse but they hang together through our interest in generating new understandings through innovative, critical, theoretically informed methodologies and the incredible richness of mind-body interactions.
